Only interesting part of SAG awards so far = Paul Thomas Anderson making a weird face at the camera after the Bridesmaids segment. I wish he would follow me around in life making weird faces and hand gestures.

mountaintopwaterdrop replied to your post: the departed 2 is coming out on march 25??? so excited
what was going on during that commercial break that led to his mumbling and teary eyes
Maybe this song came on his shuffle during the break: “Now it’s hard to turn your head away from the TV set / Taking me for granted lately / Frankly, it’s gotta quit / I feel...

I’ve had such a hard time sleeping lately, which may or may not play a role in my general annoyance with everything. I just want pizza and alcohol.
Don Draper gets me.

I don’t think some people realize that Leonardo DiCaprio has won a Golden Globe before, first on that list being Leonardo DiCaprio. That’s not to say that he shouldn’t be put on suicide watch after what we all just witnessed, but let’s remember the good time (singular).

Franco Movie Marathon: Howl
So, Howl improved slightly, but still wasn’t that intriguing. How does Franco and Ginsberg turn out to be so sub-par? I want to watch The Broken Tower next, but I don’t want to feel like I am watching the same movie. It’s going to happen soon, though.

Franco Movie Marathon: Howl
Thoughts so far:
Some of these scenes feel like Franco playing dress up in his house and filming it.
This animation is tripping me out. I’m sure the sleep deprivation isn’t helping, but damn. Is this necessary? I’m not opposed to the idea of animation in this film, it’s just stylistically odd to me. It’s also pointing out that the rest of the film is dry and...

Franco Movie Marathon: Howl
The only way this beard would look more fake is if it were drawn on with a sharpie. Wait, is it? Oh, well.

Franco Movie Marathon: Rise of the Planet of the...
Note to self: Stop crying. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected and had many revelations, like apes will do a lot for Chips Ahoy! cookies and tasers can be used as magic wands. There is probably a greater message in there somewhere. Anyway, nicely done.
Next on the list is Howl. Finally going to tackle Franco as Ginsberg. I love Ginsberg, so it should be interesting.

Did Tom Felton steal Steve Buscemi’s voice for his American accent? The fuck.

Franco Movie Marathon: Rise of the Planet of the...
If Jacobs was so against further testing of the drug, why is he going from “this is not okay” to “this is okay” based solely on Will’s word of it helping his father? Apparently Will is a stand-up guy and needs no proof. That’s cool.
Also, Tom Felton is a grade A douche in this movie. Oh, and everything else he plays in.

James Franco Movie Marathon.
After giving up on sleep and getting ready for the day bright and early this morning, I have decided to turn my day into a James Franco Movie Marathon. Instead of watching the same Franco-related things that I always do, I am finally going to catch up on the more recent Franco films that I have yet to see.
Starting with: Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I’ll probably pull a Franco during...
